Common Ground, located on 21 acres in the Vermilion River valley, is a holistic education and retreat center. We offer a variety of programs for adults and youth including a diverse environmental summer camp, holistic health services such as massage therapy, life coaching, and kinesiology, wellness workshops and retreats, walking trails, gardens and barbeque and picnic areas.

Beautifully wooded Findley State Park has over 900 acres of woods with a 93 acre lake for boating, fishing and swimming. 268 camp sites, 90 with electricity. Campground offers wash houses, playground, nature center, summer programs, game room, camp store, recreational area.

Lakeview Park

Lakeview Park is a historical park in Lorain purchased in 1917 and today there are still many reminders of the city and park's history. The Rose Garden is a landmark in Lorain County with recent renovations of 2500 rose bushes planted. By 2008, Lakeview Park will have a new building and renovated trails.

Beautiful 15 acre park located on the shores of Lake Erie. 24 hour boat launch and fishing pier along with a summer concert series (Sundays 6:30-8:30pm) during the months of July & August are park highlights. Peter Miller House Museum-opened in 1988 after major restoration by "Friends of the Peter Miller House" organization.

Rain, shine, summer or winter, Splash Zone is the place to be! Workout in an exercise room loaded with equipment or swim laps in our 8-lane indoor pool. In the summer months, splash around in the outdoor pool which has 6,000 sq feet of water. For the adventurous types, there are two 24 foot high water slides.
